Black Power in North Carolina, a screening of two films including discussions with the filmmakers and subjects, will take place at 7:00pm on Monday, September 14th at the Dillard Auditorium in the Anderson Center on the Winston-Salem State University campus. The films that will be screened are the documentaries Power to the People, Y’all and Free Joan Little. After the screenings, the respective filmmakers, Tressie McMillan Cottom and Yoruba Richen, will be joined by Larry Little, former leader of the Winston-Salem Black Panther Party, for a moderated discussion.
