Keyword Conversation: Community
Wednesday, March 29th
4:30-6:00pm
301 Reynolda Hall

During the Humanities Institute’s Keyword Conversation events, faculty from across the university dare to discuss a keyword common among their disciplines. Each faculty member will have five minutes to explain how that keyword circulates in their particular discipline, including current controversies and innovations. The dare: speakers have to be correct within their discipline, but still intelligible to the rest of the group. On Wednesday, March 29th at 4:30pm in 301 Reynolda Hall, a panel of faculty will discuss the keyword COMMUNITY.

Faculty participants will include: Julie Velásquez Runk (Environmental Program Director), Saylor Breckenridge (Sociology), Kimberly Wortmann (Study of Religions), Sarah Hogan (English), and Guy Mount (History).

Refreshments will be served. Please invite your colleagues. Contact Aimee Mepham, HI Associate Director, with questions.
